You may have already read the story about Tim DeChristopher, a college student who in a deliberate act of civil disobedience bid up parcels of oil and natural leases with no intention of paying, in order to save them from a last-ditch effort of the Bush Administration to divy out land near (among other places) Arches National Park in Utah. Well, it looks like he just might pay up…and then some.
